Total gem not far from the aquarium. The food was fresh and tasty and the couple that run it are so friendly. When we went the goya dish wasn’t on the lunch menu but they made it for us anyway. Taco rice was excellent.

Wonderful place. Wife and I shared the Garlic Shrimp Baggette Sand and a large poke bowl which were both awesome! Great vibe to this place. Highly recommend.

It doesn't seem like there will be a restaurant tucked up in there, but there it was. Super cute little diner, groovy vibes. We got the garlic shrimp sand(wich), taco rice bowl, sashimi, Orion beer, some cotton candy tasting cocktail, and a dram of Yamazaki 12 year single malt whisky. Everything was outstanding and delicious. The owner/staff were super friendly. Even though we do not speak Japanese or Uchināguchi, it was not an issue. The owner even offered to shuttle us back to our hotel, which was just down the road, but very sweet of him to offer.

Dropped past this gem of a place on a road trip to the local Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the famous Nakijin Castle Ruins. It has a fantastic vibe of western Hawaii vs traditional Japanese / Okinawa styling. The menu is quite diverse that should appeal to both western and oriental tastes. The spaghetti bolognaise went down very well with my 14 y/o so a big tick there. I tried the Taco Rice dish, which was very refreshing and an obvious Japanese take on the western dish with rice and a fresh salad mixed in with a well seasoned taco flavoured mince sauce. A side of garlic bread that actually tasted like western garlic bread with a nice crunchy textured bread rounded up my experience with another big tick. My Japanese wife opted for the cold “Ryukyu Silk noodles” which she absolutely loved. I too had a small taste and was surprised by the unique flavour of the broth and the noodles. On a crazy hot & humid Okinawa day I can’t think of a better dish to cool down with. My only regret was not trying their Baguette sandwiches which looked absolutely awesome, however I’d already had some bread for lunch so decided to skip it. The owner (whom my son and I thought looked jokingly like a younger ‘Mr Miyagi’) was very polite and friendly. My wife had a great conversation with him and we both felt privileged to have visited this family owned establishment in which you cannot doubt he is very passionate about. The outdoor cabana area looks so comfortable and warming, with what looks like a very professional sound system for nights whereby I believe they provide live entertainment. If we were staying at a local hotel, the combination of our excellent dining experience, friendly efficient service and wonderful outdoor setting would have us definitely coming back in the evening for more of this unique Okinawa experience. I highly recommend this to anyone passing through the Motubu area of northern Okinawa.

I did not regret urging my husband to eat here; we had a great time. The owner and staff were accommodating and gave my daughter a pika-pika hair tie. The food was great; we did not wait for a long time. They had live music and sang a Disney song for my daughter to sing along with. Would definitely come back!

Delicious poke bowl served with sea grapes. The garlic baguette was also really good.
